The Trails End Popcorn sales are well under way and you have plenty of time left to make an impact to your scout account and the pack. The popcorn sales activity helps the scout, the pack and the district. The important points about the popcorn fundraiser:

  1. You are NOT selling popcorn. You are selling adventures, learning, supporting and growing our community.
  2. Salesmanship is an important life skill. The ability to sell is important in almost all phases of life. You can build rapport with your prospect, learn to listen, how to handle objections and learning to set goals. It also helps with dealing with rejection!
  3. Without funds scouting can be expensive. Self-explanatory. Your effort here means a lot to your scout, the pack and the district.

This year, we are focusing our efforts 100% electronically. This means that orders will be registered via the Trails End smartphone app or the Trails End website.

So how do you start?

  3. Start selling – a short (under 5 min) video training is available here:

    2. Your selling options are going to be Online or Wagon sales

You will see that there are 2 types of sales left: Online & Wagon sales.

Online is where you can share your scout’s webpage and solicit sales. Payments are made online, shipping to the house is free. This option requires no distribution of product by the scout.

Wagon sales are your traditional door to door, workplace canvassing sales. Scouts can take payment directly via the Trails End app using a credit card. No reader is required! You can manually type in the CC information. Sales that are paid by cash/check can also be recorded here in the app. Make sure that all orders are marked UNDELIVERED unless you had product on hand to deliver. We have plenty of inventory of: Salted caramel corn, Kettle corn, Unbelievable Butter, Premium caramel corn w/nuts, Choc caramel crunch, white cheddar, popping corn. These can be distributed as they are sold.

All online & wagon sales must be completed by 11:59pm on Oct 27th. Wagon orders that need to be ordered (not in our current inventory) will be available for distribution starting 11/15 at the Legion.
